Free BBQ Sundays — A Tradition Riders Love
On the third Sunday of every month, Sopotnick’s Cabbage Patch Bar fires up the grill and throws open the doors for one of the most consistent, most-loved traditions we’ve got: Free BBQ Sunday.
It’s exactly what it sounds like — real barbecue, on the house, alongside drink specials running all day. No cover, no gimmick, just a reason to get the bikes out and spend a Sunday around good food and better company. It’s become one of those events regulars build their month around, and it’s just as easy for first-timers to walk into.
The one exception: during Bike Week and Biketoberfest weeks, the third-Sunday BBQ takes a break — those weekends are already packed with their own events (Survivor Party included), and we don’t want to compete with ourselves. Outside of rally season, though, you can count on it every month.
If you’ve never made it out for one, Free BBQ Sunday is as good an introduction to the Cabbage Patch as any of the big rally weekends — just a lower-key, come-as-you-are version of the same hospitality that’s kept this place going for a century.
